Job Description

• Planning, standardization and further developing the global virtualization infrastructure;
• Working on strategic projects and proof of concepts;
• Administration of VMware virtual environment using vSphere spanning multiple data centers and networks;
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of VMware vCenter server;
• Installation and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts and witness appliances
• Document, review, and update system administration guides and procedures;
• Configure, troubleshoot and migrate vSAN datastores;
• Configure and troubleshoot VMware VDS;
• Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for Root Cause Analysis, engineering technical assessment and process improvement initiatives;

Qualifications and Experience

• You have years of professional experience with virtualization environments;
• You have expert knowledge by working on VMware virtualization products from versions 6.7 to 8;
• You feel comfortable by using the vSphere CLI;
• You have good knowledge in central and decentral hosting of ESXi Hosts and vCenters;
• You can concept, implement, monitor and migrate vSAN clusters between vCenters;
• You are good In documenting configurations and work together with other experts;
• You have knowledge in Cloud platforms and feel comfortable to work with;
• You know how to handle VMware networking and VDS;
• You have good knowledge in Windows Server and Linux operating System
• You are motivated to introduce yourself in newer technologies and products;
• Expertise in other SDS systems are beneficial;
• VMware and Azure Certificates are an advantage;
