Recognizing that an environmentally responsible society is built through education and the development of positive habits from an early age, LEONI Tunisia chose to mark this occasion with the students of “Hay Ennacer” Primary School in Mateur.
The event featured an awareness campaign focused on waste sorting and its vital role in protecting the environment and reducing pollution. LEONI’s Health, Safety, Environment and Energy (HSEE) team led interactive sessions that introduced students to different waste categories and explained the environmental benefits of proper sorting and recycling. To reinforce these learnings and encourage long-term behavioral change, dedicated waste-sorting bins were installed throughout the school, providing students with the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge in their daily routines.
In a lively and engaging atmosphere, students participated in a range of educational activities and interactive games designed to teach them how to correctly separate waste and dispose of it in the appropriate containers. The initiative was met with great enthusiasm, as students actively engaged in the activities and contributed to a vibrant and positive learning environment throughout the day.
