As part of its ongoing dedication to employee welfare, LEONI Tunisia has announced a 7.5% salary increase for its workforce, effective retroactively from January 2026. The increase will officially be paid on May 25, 2026, following an agreement reached between the company’s management, the General Federation of Metals, and the basic trade union affiliated with the LEONI Group.

The announcement was made by Mr.Mohamed Larbi Rouis, Managing Director and Senior Vice President of LEONI Tunisia, as part of the company’s broader efforts to support employees amid the current economic and social challenges. As the growing cost of daily living continues to place financial strain on Tunisian families, the decision highlights the company’s determination to preserve the financial capacity of its employees while contributing positively to the national economy.

This salary adjustment is especially notable in light of the 5% pay increase approved by the Tunisian authorities for the private sector. LEONI Tunisia chose to go beyond this percentage by providing an additional 2.5%, in recognition of the dedication, resilience, and daily efforts of employees across production sites.

The decision was well received by employees, who viewed it as a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce during challenging times, while also strengthening morale, trust in leadership, and employees’ sense of loyalty, belonging, and long-term commitment to the organization.

This agreement also reflects the effectiveness of the social dialogue approach adopted by LEONI Tunisia, which is based on continuous communication, constructive cooperation, and mutual respect between management and union representatives.

Through this initiative, LEONI Tunisia once again confirms its commitment to social responsibility and to recognizing the value of its employees’ contributions. The decision reflects a corporate vision firmly grounded in the belief that sustainable success can only be achieved through the recognition, support, and empowerment of human capital.
